Debbie Does Stupid

It’s become such a regular occurrence that DNC Chairperson Debbie Wasserman Shultz, opens her mouth and stupid comments seem to jump out and mingle with hypocracy, that you have to ask yourself…”is she really that stupid?”

Good old Debbie Dumb-as-dirt has been making the rounds touting the Obama campaign’s latest talking points about evil rich guy Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney and his allegedly mysterious “off shore accounts.”

Chatting with fellow Mensa member Alex Wagner at MSNBC Shultz uttered the following talking point, “It would be nice if we had a candidate for president who was committed to America. Mitt Romney is committed to making sure that either he makes the most money as humanly possible, or his investors do. And that's evidenced by his track record in shipping jobs overseas and making sure that he has investments that we don't know why he invested in offshore accounts. But most folks that I know, they make their investments in a bank in America, most American business men invest here and if you're running for president, that certainly should be your commitment.”

At another media stop, Shultz dropped this cliffhanger; "Americans need to ask themselves, why does an American businessman need a Swiss bank account and secretive investments like that? Just something, a thought, that I'd like to leave folks with."

One small problem for Ms. Shultz; The Weekly Standard is reporting that financial disclosure forms from 2010 show that Wasserman Schultz invested between $1,001-$15,000 in a 401k retirement fund run by Davis Financial Fund. The fund has investments in the Julius Baer Group Ltd., a Swiss investment firm, nd the State Bank of India GDR Ltd., as well as other financial, insurance, bank institutions. Other investments show she had funds with holdings in foreign drug makers and auto companies.

The Weekly Standard points out there is nothing illegal in holding such assets…something that the Dumbocraps aren’t saying about Romney.

This one ranks right up there with Shultz’s criticism of former Republican Presidential candidate Rick Santorum’s purchase of a foreign made Audi automobile as not being supportive of the U.S. auto industry, when she drives a 2010 Infiniti X35…yep you guessed it…Infiniti’s parent company is the Japan based Nissan corporation. Just more liberal do as I say not as I do stupidity.

Edward Klein – The Amateur – Barack Obama in the White House (Regnery Books)

When he was elected, I labeled the Barack Obama presidency the “second term of Jimmy Carter” and I could not have been more right! The similarities are striking! The hallmark of both the Carter and Obama administrations is economic turmoil, global unrest and glaring ineptitude on the part of the President to address any of the pressing issues facing the nation.

What’s the old saying is a man is judged by the company he keeps? Here is yet another striking similarity between Obama and Carter. As Edward Klein points out in his latest book The Amateur – Barack Obama in the White House Obama, much like Carter came to Washington with almost no leadership experience and surrounded by an equally neophyte group of advisors.

Carter surrounded himself with likes of rookie political strategist Hamilton Jordan, corrupt businessman Bert Lance, former community organizer Andrew Young and liberal academic Zbigniew Brzezinski. Obama has repeated that mistake selecting a cadre of the ill-equipped, inexperienced and downright clueless senior staffers. Washington, DC and the White House is no place for a huge learning curve.

Klein runs down an almost frightening resume of ineptitude on the part of Obama’s primary advisor Valerie Jarrett; who’s only apparent claim to fame is her ability to “fail upward.” She started her political career as the “public black face” of Chicago Mayor Richard Daily. Despite screwing up as a “city planner” and costing Chicago millions in funding, she managed to land on her feet taking on the role of executive director of a public housing project, with a salary and deferred compensation in excess of three quarters of a million dollars.

The role of these senior advisors is to guide any President around the pitfalls that confront them on a daily basis. Klein outlines Jarrett’s seemingly self-centered focus; more concerned with conserving and protecting her power rather than aiding Obama. Either blinded by loyalty or cowed by his own stupidity, Obama has been able to grasp the shortfall in his own team.

While his status as a card-carrying amateur is certainly glaring when it comes to dealing with the mounting economic issues facing the country, Klein points out that Obama’s ineptitude is never more dangerous than in the national security front. Clearly Obama lack of real world experience and his allegiance to an almost childlike world view fostered by liberal academics has led to him on a global, apology tour of the Middle East, Asia and Europe.

This lead from behind approach has led to the glaring mishandling of hot spots like; Egypt, Libiya, Yemen, and Syria, among others. He continues to send muddled, incoherent messages on what role he believes the United States should play in world affairs.

It is Obama’s reliance on an organizational chart, top-heavy with un-vetted czars and his apparent boxing out of advice from those members of his Senate confirmed, Cabinet members that is striking.

The best example of his apparent tone-deafness is illustrated by his endless rounds of golf, to date over 100 rounds, and he and First Lady Michelle Obama’s high-priced taste when it comes to world travel and high end vacation spots. At a time when the much of the country is hurting and nearly half of U. S. households are cueing up for food stamps, the Obama’s jet set lifestyle isn’t sitting well with the average taxpayer. The defense coming from amateur advisors that “the President deserves a vacation” rings very hollow. No one would begrudge the President a break, but over 100 rounds of golf?

The Amateur – Barack Obama in the White House is a scathing indictment and a solid case for sending this collection of rank amateurs packing back to Chicago.

John Edwards...Quite A Guy!

What kind of a guy has an affair, knocks up the dumb slut and then asks other people to foot the bill to try to hide said slut from his wife and the tabloid media all while running for President? Keep in mind that this guy has a fortune estimated at between 30 and 40 MILLION DOLLARS!
That of course would be John Edwards!
What kind of a numnuts smiles for a mug shot?

Now the trail lawyer turned politician is trying desperately to get out from under a Federal case charging him with circumvent campaign finance laws when he asked a couple of wealthy campaign donors to pony up nearly a million bucks in secret cash to try to hide campaign videographer and not too bright slut Rielle Hunter from the prying eyes of the National Enquirer and his cancer stricken wife Elizabeth.
Edwards’s lawyer filed an armload of motions in a North Carolina court room today to try to cut the legs out from under the government’s case. Edwards’ mouthpiece Abbe Lowell is claiming that the “Silky Pony” knew nothing about the payments and that the cash never made its way through the campaign coffers.
You’ve got to wonder what kind of people become so enamored with a politician that that would be willing to stroke checks for huge money to help the guy cover up his indiscretions? Makes you wonder what the expectations were for a quid pro quo if the second tier Edwards miraculously could have pulled off the election win?
Seriously, this whole episode could have been avoided, if Edwards had just sucked it up and took the hit or easier still would have funded his own slut fund out of his own fortune. Makes you wonder not only about his character, but also his lack of intelligence.

Debbie Does Dumb

Just when you thought she couldn’t get any more stupid, Democrat National Committee chair, Florida Congresswomen, Debbie “Dumbasshit” Shultz rides again. Schultz insisted to CNSNews.com yesterday that “anyone’ can see that the economy is improving and sought to interpret what Pres. Obama really meant when he admitted Monday that Americans were not better off today than four years ago.

DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Shultz proudly displays her IQ...on two hands

“Well, what President Obama said was that certainly since the collapse of Lehman Brothers, that Americans are not better off,” Wasserman Schultz told CNSNews.com. “That was specifically the president’s comment. I thought. And I think anyone who looks at the economy knows we have come a long way.

Really? Anyone? I wonder if this clueless, drooling, moron would like to ask the nearly 116 thousand Americans that lost their jobs last month, the largest number in two years, if they think things are getting better?

Does this women really think that all of the American people are as stupid as the voters who elected her? So much for the best and the brightest.

What’s the Common Thread Here?

While President Obama was touring lily white flyover country in his Canadian built bus, talking up buying American to put people back to work, the Congressional Black Caucus led by Congress-monster Maxine Waters have been conducting a jobs fair tour in places like Cleveland, Detroit, Miami, Atlanta, and Los Angeles.

Waters made headlines at the Detroit stop when she was quoted as saying; “We don’t put pressure on the president,” said Waters to cheers and jeers as people interrupted at will and yelled at her. “Let me tell you why. We don‘t put pressure on the president because ya’ll love the president. You love the president. You’re very proud…to have a black man [in the White House] …First time in the history of the United States of America. If we go after the president too hard, you’re going after us.”

She then told the fired-up crowd that voters must “unleash” the Democrats on Obama before criticizing him for not visiting any “black community” during his bus tour: “When you tell us it‘s alright and you unleash us and you tell us you’re ready for us to have this conversation, we’re ready to have the conversation. The Congressional Black Caucus loves the president too. We‘re supportive of the president but we’re getting tired ya’ll…we’re getting tired. And so, what we want to do is…we want to give the president every opportunity to show what he can do and what he’s prepared to lead on. We want to give him every opportunity…but our people are hurting. The unemployment is unconscionable. We don’t know what the strategy is. We don‘t know why on this trip that he’s in the United States now, he’s not in any black community…we don’t know that.”

I thought it was kind of interesting that the CBC chose these five cities to hold their job fairs. What do these five cities have in common? They have largely been run by Democrat Mayors for much of their history!

Look at the amazing electoral history of these cities and it’s easy to grasp the long term problems faced by their residents. The tour kicked off in Cleveland Ohio, a city that elected a Democrat 8 out of the past 10 Mayors, dating back to 1946; including Dennis “Spaceman” Kucinich! Need I say more?

Detroit, has had a Democrat Mayor for the past 49 years, dating back to 1962. Miami has had a Democrat Mayor every year since 1947, 64 years. Atlanta has elected 9 Mayors since 1942, all of them Democrats. Oddly enough it’s Los Angeles that has the most varied Mayoral past mixing both Democrat and Republican Mayors, but with the 20 year tenure of Tom Bradley dominating the cities recent history.

If you have any common sense it has to raise the question, why would voters, facing long term, deeply ingrained problems like unemployment, crime, drugs, poverty…you get the idea; continue to elect Democrats, hoping for a different outcome? Isn’t that the definition of insanity?

Dumb and Dumber

Just when you thought liberals couldn't get any dumber comes this from Obama's Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack: "Well, obviously, it's putting people to work. Which is why we're going to have some interesting things in the course of the forum this morning. Later this morning, we're going have a press conference with Secretary Mavis and Secretary Chu to announce something that's never happened in this country -- something that we think is exciting in terms of job growth.

Yes...this really is Obama's Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack. Amazing.

I should point out, when you talk about the SNAP program or the food stamp program, you have to recognize that it's also an economic stimulus. Every dollar of SNAP benefits generates $1.84 in the economy in terms of economic activity. If people are able to buy a little more in the grocery store, someone has to stock it, package it, shelve it, process it, ship it. All of those are jobs. It's the most direct stimulus you can get in the economy during these tough times."

Can Anyone Really Be This Stupid?

At the daily press gaggle at the White House, Obama’s mouth piece Jay Carney got into it with a Wall Street Journal reporter and had this to say about unemployment checks

“It is one of the most direct ways to infuse money directly into the economy because people who are unemployed and obviously aren’t running a paycheck are going to spend the money that they get. They’re not going to save it, they’re going to spend it. And with unemployment insurance, that way, the money goes directly back into the economy, dollar for dollar virtually.”

Following this twisted logic; given all of the people who have been collecting unemployment checks during the Obama presidency, if unemployment checks really did create jobs, then wouldn’t our unemployment rate be below 5% rather than hanging where it’s been for months, above 9%?!

Can anyone really be this stupid?

Oh…wait a minute…then Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said this of unemployment benefits back in July of 2010… “It creates jobs faster than almost any other initiative you can name.”

I guess the short answer is…yes…Democrats really can be that stupid!

If unemployment checks really created jobs…then why work? Don’t you want to help the economy?
